Which checkout changes are checked?
When the global policy requires approval, Shopify compares company location, variant IDs and quantities, subtotal and currency, and the approved PO number when present. A mismatch or expired approval blocks checkout. Line prices, discounts, selling plans, and custom line attributes are not compared.
Where is customer data stored?
The production design uses a MySQL database. Live customer-data processing begins only after deployment safeguards are verified. See our privacy policy for retention and deletion details.
